She is the founder and owner of Adapt + Learn who supervises her clinical team between clinical and community-based services. In addition to managing the practice, Alescia conducts Independent Educational Evaluations and school-based consultations for OT + AT needs throughout Connecticut.  Click here for more information on Alescia's professional background and focus.

Alyssa DeLeone MS OTR/L

Alyssa is a skilled occupational therapist who brings school-based and sensory integration experiences to Adapt + Learn's team. Alyssa works in our clinic location with a strong focus on our school-age learners, and teen/young adult/adult sensory population. Alyssa enjoys targeting functional and academic skills within her practice. When she's not working magic as Adapt + Learn's scheduling genie, you can find her beach-side with a book or enjoying time with her family.

Brittney DeMaio MS OTR/L

Brittney is one of our original team members who draws on school-based and sensory integration experiences in her clinical work with young clients. Currently, Brittney sees some of our littlest early learners in Southern CT. She enjoys collaborating with families and clinicians to maximize the impact of her interventions! Most afternoons, you can find Brittney "at the barn" as she is an avid equestrian in the process of becoming a certified therapeutic riding instructor!

Shannon O'Brien MS OTR/L

Shannon pairs a creative spirit with her pediatric experience to Adapt + Learn's clinical team. She is constantly looking for new ways to help her young clients learn and grow. Shannon puts those researching skills to good use as she crafts our monthly newsletter for families and parent-friendly resources to share with our clients on social media each month! When she's not on Canva or her Cricut, you can find Shannon curled up with a good book or traveling!
